February2, 2020 (Nyala) A court in Nyala, South Darfur, Sunday adjourned the case of those accused of forming an armed movement, to classify defendants according to their age, as there are children among the suspects.

Two weeks ago, the armed forces spotted two military recruitment sites in the areas of Sonta and Radom in South Darfur, and arrested 54 people with a number of firearms.

Guardian of one of the accused, named Ahmed Brima , told Darfur 24 that the judge had adjourned  the case and ordered the police to classify the defendants according to their age, provided that adults  are tried in  General Criminal Court, while children to be transferred to the Family and Child Court.

The court ordered that all defendants be imprisoned in Kobbar Prison, Nyala, until the court hearings resume.
