February 19, 2020 (El-Daein) A policeman was killed and one more injured in an attack by gunmen at Heglig police station in East Darfur state, Tuesday.
The attack was carried out in response to the killing of a gunman by the police.
A sources told to Darfur 24 that at least 17 of the deceased man family members carried out an attack on Heglig police station, killing one policeman and wounding another.
The East Darfur State Security Committee, has dispatched reinforcement on ten SUVs to the village of Heglig to impose state’s authority and arrest the suspects.
