April 14, 2020 (khartoum) Member of the Sovereign Council, Vice-President of the Supreme Committee for Sudanese Health Emergency, Professor Seddik Tawor announced  Tuesday, three new confirmed cases of Corona virus, including one death.

Speaking to reporters  after the meeting of the Supreme Committee in the Republican Palace, Tawor  said   the total cases had reached 32 including 3 recoveries and   5 deaths.

Banks working hours

In a related development, the Central Bank of Sudan, Tuesday, issued an amendment to working hours in the banking system in khartoum state  from 7 am to 4 pm , during the next three days, in line with the policies and directives of the state to combat the spread of Corona virus infection.

The Supreme Committee for Health Emergencies has  decided to lockdown Khartoum State, starting next Saturday for a period of 3 weeks.The decision to lockdown  capital khartoum, comes against the
backdrop of the  increasing  number of people affected by Covid-19
pandemic .
The  Committee has left the lockdown order in the other cities to
state governments to decide.
