November 24, 2020 (El-Geneina) Unidentified armed men killed Monday community leader. mayor Mohamed Doussa at his residence in Umm Tajook village , 80 kms east of El-Genena.
Sources told Darfur 24 that gunmen had managed to enter the house of the mayor of the “Umm Tajok area, Mohamed Dosa, to steal a motorcycle that was inside his accommodation.
The sources indicated that the gunmen entered into a sharp discussion with one of the residents of the house, so the mayor came out of his room to find out what was happening, and then the gunmen shot him, and escaped to un known destination.
The same source explained that the tribal leader died on the way before reaching El –Geneina teaching hospital..
