Darfur 24-El-Geneina
On Sunday, tribal battles were renewed in the city of El Geneina, the capital of West Darfur State between Arab and Non-Arab tribes, as sporadic heavy weapons were heard in separate places in the city.
Darfur 24 reporter from El Geneina reported that clashes renewed in front of the Krending IDP, while columns of smoke were seen rising from the IDP camp that is located in the vicinity of El-Geneina.
. However, there were other clashes in the neighborhoods of Aljeel , in which heavy weapons such as RPG and grenades were used.
Darfur 24 learned that military reinforcements had been dispatched from neighbouring Darfur states to contribute in restoring security to West Darfur.
