In a statement seen by Darfur 24, the movement affirmed that government militias stationed in the Fallujah area attacked, Sunday morning, its forces in the Touh Shalal area, east of Jebel Marra, but the movement’s forces were fully prepared, and repelled the aggression.
According to the statement ,the movement’s forces were able to defeat the aggressor militias and inflict heavy losses on lives and equipment of the enemy.
The movement said that the provocations and repeated attacks carried out by the government “militias” on the areas controlled by the movement since 2018 will not help achieve peace and stability in Sudan in general and the Darfur region in particular.
Darfur24 learned from intelligence sources that two groups of the movement’s forces, one under the leadership of Gaddoura and the other under the leadership of Zanoon, entered several weeks ago into armed confrontations, in which the commander Gaddoura was able to defeat Zanoon and the latter fled to government-controlled areas.
