The investigation commission into the violent dismantling of the sit-in in front of the military command in Khartoum on June 3 has  investigated with Mohamed Naji Al-Asam for the second time.

Sudan’s prime minister named  the  commission  to investigate a raid on a sit-in in June in which security forces killed dozens near the Defence Ministry in Khartoum, following repeated calls for justice from protest and civilian groups.

The commission enjoys  broad powers to summon witnesses, including officials, and has been given access to official documents, security reports and medical records.

It’s worth noting that the commission has so far investigated all members of the military component of the transitional council,  with the exception of the chairman and his deputy.
