Darfur 24- Saraf Omra
On Wednesday, 10 people were killed and 32 others were wounded in a tribal fight between the Fur and Tama tribes in the Saraf Omra area in North Darfur state.
Sources told Darfur 24 that 6 people were killed and 13 others were injured in a tribal conflict between the Fur and Tama tribes against the background of the Fur’s refusal to appoint a Sultan for the Tama tribe in the area.
Official reports stated that the death toll had risen to 10 and 32 wounded,
The Tama tribe had appointed Mohamad Sharif as Sultan of the Tama tribe at a conference held in El Fasher about a month ago.
Meanwhile, North Darfur state police director, said that the State government had decided to impose a curfew and deploy large forces in the area to reinforce security
