The Public Prosecution office  in Sudan  has given go ahead to  the burial of the bodies that arrived in the morgues of Khartoum from January to the eighth of March of this year.

The buried bodies  were estimated at 149, out of a total of 1228 bodies that have been in Khartoum morgues since the period following the dispersal of the General Command sit-in.

Dr. Hashem Faqiri, Director of the Forensic Medicine Authority told  Darfur 24 , that   the authority had begun autopsies, re-autopsies, and taking samples for the purposes of DNA testing later.

Faqiri added that the authorities have identified special graves for the bodies in the eastern Nile area.
