Federal minister of health OmerAl-Najeeb has revealed deficiencies and other issues currently existing within the sector including the countrywide incidence of drug shortages.
Addressing a workshop on drug abundance in Sudan (challenges and solutions), held at the medical supplies hall , the minister said drug crisis differs from the rest of the crises, indicating that its results lead to death of patients.
Omer expressed his hope that the workshop participants would deal with all the challenges that the drug crisis face with full transparency to reach Final solutions.
Al-Najeeb pointed out that there is a problem of pharmaceutical cadres, adding, “The pharmaceutical situation is negative in light of an acute shortages of pharmacists
