Two people were killed, and about 6 others were injured Tuesday, as families of martyrs gathered in front of Sudanese army HQ to commemorate the second anniversary of bloody and violent crackdown on protesters.
A medical source at Zaytouna Hospital confirmed that Muddathir Mukhtar was shot in the chest, and the Professionals Association announced that Othman Ahmad Badr al-Din had been shot dead.
Sudanese armed forces used live ammunition to disperse the crowd, who flocked to commemorate the second anniversary of the violent dispersal of peaceful protesters infront of the ArmyHead Quaters in the capital
