40,455 male and female students in South Darfur state will write basic school exams on Saturday June 5.

However, the students will be distributed in 221 centers in the localities of the state.

The Ministry of Education and Guidance in the state confirmed that the increase in the number of students taking exams this year compared to the number of those who took exams in the previous year amounted to more than four thousand male and female students.

 

The director of basic school education at the Ministry of Education and Guidance in the state, Mr. Zakaria, told Darfur 24 that all students write exams in their localities, except for students from East Jebel Marra, who are being transferred to examination centers in Mershing locality.

 

The director of the state police, Major General Ali Hasab al-Rasoul, confirmed that the state police had developed a tight security plan to secure the examination centers throughout the state.
