Five children and a woman in Mornei, West Darfur state, were killed when a dirt mountain collapsed on them while they were shoveling soil for the purpose of home construction.
Eyewitnesses from Mornei said that a woman, three of her grandchildren and two of her neighbors’ sons died as a result of the landslide accident, while two people were injured and taken to El Geneina Hospital for treatment.
