September 21, 2021 (Khartoum) Informed military sources revealed to “Darfur 24” that four units participated in the failed coup attempt, namely (armored vehicles, parachutes, air force and administration brigade).
The source said the arrests included, until this afternoon, 25 officers, the majority of whom are from the Armored Corps, and all of them are in service, except for one retired officer.
The same source added that the coup plotters destroyed communications devices and sim cards after the failure of the coup, but the intelligence restored them and it is now being investigated whether there are civilians involved in the coup attempt.
