October 14, 2021 (Khartoum) Two children were killed in El Geneina, the capital of West Darfur state, as a result of being struck by thunderbolts on Wednesday.
The city of El Geneina witnessed heavy rain, interspersed with thunderstorms and winds.
Eyewitnesses told Darfur 24 that a thunderbolt struck yesterday, in the Aburundi area, south of El Geneina, two siblings when they were returning with their mother from their farm. \
Eyewitnesses said the two children died on the spot, along the donkey they were riding on, while their mother survived.
