Khartoum- Jan.11 (Darfur24) Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council TSC welcomed Monday, the initiative put forward by the United Nations to facilitate the intra-Sudanese dialogue that aimed at ending the current political deadlock.
TSC called for participation of the African Union in the UN-facilitated process to support the initiative and contribute to the success of the Sudanese dialogue efforts.
Member of the Sovereignty Council and the official spokeswoman, Dr. Salma Abdel-Jabbar, explained in a press statement that the council called for the need to expedite formation of a caretaker government to fill the political and constitutional gap.
