Nyala, Jan. 26 (Darfur24) The Sudanese Rapid Support Forces announced, on Wednesday, the closure of the border with the Central African Republic for security reasons.
The commander of the joint forces tasked with securing the border strip between Sudan and Central Africa Republic , Colonel Absher Baleel, said in a statement posted on the Rapid Support Forces page on Facebook that the borders between Sudan and Central Africa had been completely closed for security reasons.
“The closure of the border was well coordinated and agreed upon with Central African Republic and Chad”Added Absher Baleel.
