El-Daein ,May 15(Darfur24) The governor of Darfur region, Minni Arko
Minawi, said that the ongoing dialogue between the Sudanese to address
the country’s crises should not go beyond anyone. He added: From our
side, we do not mind sitting and dialogue with any party, but some of
our brothers refuse to sit with us – in reference to the forces of
freedom and change and the resistance committees – which raise the
slogan of no bargaining, no negotiation and no partnership with the
military.
Addressing the masses of El Daein, the capital of East Darfur, on
Sunday, Minawi said that he pardoned the governor of East Darfur in
the rescue regime, “Anas Omar,” who said – after the clan battles that
took place between Minnawi’s forces and government forces in 2018 AD –
that the bullet is more expensive than the rebel, directing The armed
forces and the rapid support forces – at the time – not to lose
bullets in killing them.
The governor of the region denied the popular information about
changing the “Samaha- El Daein” road linking the state of South Sudan
and the Darfur region through East Darfur to the “Raja- Buram” road in
South Darfur. Information circulated in East Darfur after the South
Darfur government announced a tender for the construction of a road
linking the cities of Buram in South Darfur and Raga in southern Sudan
at the request of Minawi, and that a settlement with the people of
“Bram” took place against the background of the killing of the agent
of Nazer al-Habbaniya and others in battles with the Sudan Liberation
Movement Minawi’s leadership years ago.
In his speech, the representative of the Rizeigat headmaster, Saeed
Madbo, called on the governor of the region to clarify his position on
changing the road. The governor of the region said that all rumors
about changing the road are rumors with a purpose behind them, and
stressed that the “Samaha-Al Daein” road exists as a project, in
addition to the road project linking South Darfur to the state of the
south. Minawi’s visit to El Daein, the capital of East Darfur, is the
first since he assumed the position of governor. During the visit, the
medical supplies building, El Daein Hospital accident building, was
opened.
