Kartoum , July 3(Darfur24) A rapid Support Forces member b driving a four-wheel drive vehicle ran over a man named Sharaf al-Din Muhammad Shaaban, a person with special needs and a member of the National Deaf Union, on his way to work on June 29.
Sources told Darfur 24 that while Shaaban was leaving his work place , the driver deliberately ran over him, thinking he was a protester, and walked on his body, causing the skull to break and fractures in his foot and hand, which led to his death on spot.
The authorities arrested the driver and filed a complaint against him.
Families of the deceased and the Sudanese National Federation of the Deaf stressed the demand for retribution for the deceased.
