El-Fashir, December 4(Darfru24 )Four protesters were seriously injured as a result of being shot by government forces today, Sunday, in the city of Kabkabiya, 180 km west of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur state.

 

One of the city’s community  leaders, Muhammad Tirab, told Darfur 24 that the government forces fired bullets at protesters who tried to attack them while they were walking, causing serious injuries to four of them, who were subsequently transferred to Kabkabiya Hospital.

 

Since yesterday, the Kabkabiya locality witnessed widespread protests that continued until Sunday morning, against the background of the killing of a citizen and his son, and the wounding of another last Friday night.
