Kharrtoum, December 7(Darfur24) The defense team revealed that three men suspected of killing Police Brigadier General Ali Brema intend to file a complaint against the Kober prison administration for failing to protect their client, Muhammad Adam Tupac, who was assaulted inside the prison last Sunday.
The head of the defense, Iman Hassan, told Darfur 24 that the medical report confirmed that he had a wound in the lower lip that was sutured, in addition to wounds in the head and face. She expressed her fear that he would be assassinated inside the prison due to the repeated incidents of assault on him, and that the whole matter appears to be targeted and monitored.
For her part, Tupac’s mother, Mrs. Nidal Yaqoub, told Darfur 24 that her son told her that he did not feel safe because of the repeated incidents of assault on him inside the prison .
The trial sessions of 5 men accused of killing a police brigadier general last January continue at the Institute of Judicial Sciences in Khartoum, amidst strict security measures and a large presence of the families of the accused and the resistance committees.
