Juba, January 21(Darfur24) The National  Umma Party and the Sudan People Liberation movement led by Abdelaziz Adam  Al Hilu have announced that they agreed not to use religion for political gains and separate between  citizenship rights  and religious affiliation.

 

However, the  delegation of Umma party l headed by Alsidig alsadig Almahadi  met with its  counterpart from Sudan people liberation movement led by abdelaziz adam Alhilu  on Thursday and Friday  in the capital of South Sudan, Juba where the Umma party was acquainted with  secular   stance of SPLM-N that calls for separation of the  state  from religion.

 

In  a joint communiqué seen by Darfur 24 the two delegations   agreed on the importance of resolving the deeply rooted Sudanese problems based on the unity and stability of Sudan.

 

The two sides have also agreed to build national identity far from exclusion , marginalization and financial decentralization , where the wealth of the country could be equally    shared.

 

The two parties have emphasized on transitional justice ,, accountability, impunity  and the realization of a  just, sustainable and comprehensive peace that addresses  root causes of the Sudanese problem.
