Khartoum, March 17(Darfur 24) The martyrs families organisation has called for abolition of the transitional justice law and the justice commission to prevent abuse of independence.
Addressing the opening session of the transitional justice conference ، held at friendship hall in Khartoum on Thursday, chairman of the organisation , Farah Abbass said the commission should be fully authoritized to carry out its mandated tasks so that no impunity for perpetrators and fortify it from all political intervention..
Abbas said that signatories of the framework agreement and the tripartite mechanism should shoulder responsibility to realize justice for martyrs who have been killed since 2019 in addition to the victims of sexual abuse and enforced disappearance..
