Nyala, July 8(Darfur 24) South Darfur ministry of health announced Saturday that Nyala teaching hospital resumed service to provide medical services to residents after two weeks of suspension.

Doctors and medical cadres had suspended work after Sudan’s army affiliates stormed the hospital several times and physically assaulted one of the doctors, assuming that RSF snipers were on the top of the hospital’s buildings.

Basic services, notably the health one in Nyala, the provincial capital of South Darfur state have been affected by the ongoing conflict between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary rapid support forces (RSF).150 civilians people have killed and nearly 680 others injured in Nyala alone, since eruption of the war between the two Generals, according to the state ministry of health .
