January 9, 2025 Adré – Darfur24 Sudanese refugees in Gaga camp, 100 km west of the Chadian city of Adré, complained about deterioration of humanitarian conditions due to rapid decline in the level of services provided, such as “water, health, and lack of medicines.”

A female refugee in the camp told “Darfur24” that the refugees face extreme difficulty in obtaining drinking water, which forces us to walk long distances in search of it.

She added that she is “a mother of five children who continuously suffer from illness due to contaminated water.”

Another refugee stated that conditions in the camp have become very difficult due to severe shortage of basic services, such as water and health, noting that they have begun to feel their lives are in danger due to the lack of necessary medical care.

He called on foreign organizations and youth initiatives to expedite finding solutions to the shortage of services in the camp.
