Five Rapid Support Forces (RSF) members fighting alongside the Arab coalition forces were killed near the Saudi city of Dhahran on Monday during clashes with the Yemeni Houthi group on the border with Saudi Arabia.
RSF are participating with more than 5,000 soldiers as part of the Saudi-led Arab coalition fighting the Yemeni Houthi group, which was formed in 2015.
Security sources told Darfur 24 that Houthi militants infiltrated a border area adjacent to the Saudi city of Dhahran, which led to clashes with the RSF deployed on the border between Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
The sources stated that the clashes that took place in a mountainous area led to the killing of 5 RSF affiliates, including a lieutenant.
