January 29, 2020 (Al-Daein)- A joint police force from East and South Darfur States , have arrested two people in connection with shooting incident against a farmer on Tuesday night.
Two armed men, carried out an attack on a farmer’s home on Tuesday in Al-Daba area of Al-Sontah locality, South Darfur. However, the shooting resulted in killing a number of livestock, while the farmer survived.
Hashim Ishaq, the farmer whose home was attacked, told Darfur24 that he had survived an assassination attempt carried out by two armed men..
“Before Tuesday, I fought with two people who had tried to drive their livestock into my farm at night, one of them was injured in his head” said the farmer.
In a related development, Police tracked down the suspects until reached the house of the same armed people who are accused of carrying out the attack, then arrested them.
