February 5, 2020 (Khartoum) Head of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, affirmed his keenness to achieve the supreme interests of the country.
During his meeting Wednesday at the HQs of the Armed Forces with the chief editors of newspapers, correspondents of satellite channels and managers of media institutions, Al-Burhan stressed Sudan’s commitment to the principles of the Palestinian question .
Spokesman of the Sudanese armed forces, Brigadier General, Amir Mohamed Al-Hassan, said in a press statement that the President of the Transitional Sovereign Council briefed the media on the reasons for his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister.
Amir Mohamed Al-Hassan said the main purpose of Al-Burhan’s meeting with Netanyahu was to get Sudan out of the current economic situation as well as opening Sudan to the international arena, following its isolation from the international community .
