March 23, 2020 (Juba) The first direct negotiation sessions on the file of security arrangements between the Sudanese government and the Revolutionary Front (Darfur track) will kick off Monday.
Meanwhile, South Sudan mediation team has reduced the number of negotiators due to Coronavirus , and suggested that each party should retain eight members of its delegation, provided that the mediation team distributes Coronavirus safety tools to the attendees.
Speaking to Darfur24, spokesman for the Sudan Liberation Force group, Noureddine Zakaria, said that there was disagreements with the mediation team ,over the number of participants in the session,but the mediation had not respond yet.
“The meeting on security arrangements will start Monday, at ten thirty in the morning, and will continue until half past twelve, then resumes after two thirty and go on untill seven in the evening.o the request” concluded Noureddine Zakaria.
