May 30, 2020 (Khartoum) Sudan’s federal ministry of health announced
175 new COVID-19 cases.
This raises total number of infections in Sudan to 4521 since outbreak
of the pandemic in December 2019.
“38 new fatalities have been reported in the country, lifting total
of death toll to 232” Ministry said in a statement.
However, 67 patients have recovered, raising number of recoveries to
816.  Since the virus emerged in China last December, it has spread to
all countries of the world.
The global death toll from the novel coronavirus pandemic  has
exceeded 300,000 with more than 5.12 million confirmed cases, and
recoveries topping 2 million, according to a running tally by the US’
Johns Hopkins University.
