May 31, 2020 (Khartoum) The Sudanese Government on Saturday said the closure of all local and international airports in the country would be extended by two weeks due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
The extension comes in line with the precautionary measures adopted by the country in light of local and global spread of Covid-19 pandemic.However, the decision excluded humanitarian and medical aid flights, alongside evacuation of foreigners, as well as cargo flights, stressing at the same time that all exceptions required prior approval
by the Civil Aviation Authority.
