June 13, 2020-Sudan ministry of health recorded 148 new coronavirus(COVID-19) cases .
“12people died on Monday from the killer pandemic, raising total number of death toll to 413” the ministry said in a statement.
The ministry added that 76 people have recovered , bringing total number of recoveries to 2278.
The ministry had earlier said that 90% of Coronavirus patients in the country were recorded in the capital, Khartoum, noting that the number of diagnosed cases and cases that have reached hospitals does
not exceed 10% of the total infections.
A breakdown of the new confirmed cases, shows that Khartoum states has the highest number with 120 infections, followed by Aljazeera State 19 cases ,North Kordofan 1, West Kordofan 2, white Nile1 and Algadarif 4 cases.
Health authorities appealed to the citizens to comply with the instructions of the Ministry of Health and follow the preventive measures.
