June 20, 2020 (Khartoum) Sudan’s ministry of health has recorded 100 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections, raising total number to 8416,since the pandemic first emerged in the country.
“7 patients have died, brining number of death toll to 513” theministry said in a statement.
The ministry of health added that 118 people have recently recovered, lifting recoveries to 3204.
Breakdown of the new confirmed cases, shows that Khartoum states has the highest number with 32 infections, followed by Aljazeera State 21 cases , River Nile 19,North Darfur 4, Kassal 10, white Nile14 and
Sinar 2cases, Blue Nile 2, Northern State 8, Algadarif 2 cases, North Kordofan 3, South Kordofan 2, West Kordofan 1 and River Nile 1 case.
Health authorities in the east African Country , appealed to the citizens to comply with the instructions of the Ministry of Health and follow the preventive measures.
