June 22, 2020(Khartoum) The Sudanese Ministry of Health recorded on Friday, 118 new cases of the novel Coronavirus pandemic, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 8698.
Twelve deaths were recorded from the virus on Monday raising the total number of confirmed deaths from the virus to 533.
There was a drop in the number of deaths reported Monday compared to what was reported on previous days.
“135 people have recovered , lifting total number of recoveries to 3460” said in a statement.
A breakdown of the new confirmed infections shows that the capital Khartoum has the highest number of cases with 39 infections, followed by Aljazeera state 45 cases, red sea 30, Kassala 7, Sinar 4 , Blue Nile 2 and the Northern State 1.
