The Darfur Bar Association has discussed with the Sudanese Prime Minister, Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk, the phenomenon of sit-ins, and the massacre of the Fataburno  and Kutum area, west of El Fasher, the state capital, in addition to the security situations in the country.

On Monday morning, armed militias, riding motorcycles and horses, launched an  attack on the town of Fataburno, leaving scores of residents  dead and injured.

During his meeting in his office at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers,  Prime Minister announced his full approval of the proposal of the Darfur Bar Association, to develop the  sit-ins, into  conferences and workshops to be organized in all states of Sudan to discuss local and national issues and problems.

Hamdock pledged, to move forward with the Darfur Bar Association, for the project to succeed and to be fully prepared for cooperation.
