September 18, 2020 (Khartoum) The Islamic World Organization for Education, Science and Culture ISESCO has provided financial support of one hundred thousand dollars to the Sudanese government for the
restoration of archaeological sites affected by floods this year.
The Minister of Culture and Information, Faisal Mohamed Saleh, praised the organization’s support and its prompt response to the urgent appeal for solidarity with Sudan to confront the flood disaster.
“ISESCO” announced an initial donation of one hundred thousand dollars for the purposes of protecting and restoring archaeological sites affected by this year’s floods” concluded Faisal.
