Two herders were killed in mysterious circumstances in Bir Saliba, north of El Geneina, the capital of West Darfur State, near the border with the state of Chad.
Native administration sources told Darfur 24 that two bodies of herders with bullet wounds had been found in Bir Saliba area.
The sources said that the Sudanese-Chadian joint forces received the two bodies and transferred them to the Sudanese authorities.
On the other hand, Darfur 24 learned that families of the deceased had gathered in large numbers, heavily armed to trace the perpetrators.
