Dr. Hamadouk’s announcement comes amid Protests against the high prices of basic commodities that continued for the fourth consecutive day, in the capital, Khartoum.
Abdallah Hamdouk stated on his Facebook account that the government will be adopting the former experiment of re-pricing and impose punishments on the distribution companies that do not live up to their commitments. It was also agreed at the meeting to endorse the efforts of the Ministry of Energy to unify fuel prices between states and Khartoum.
