The official spokesman for the Sudanese army Colonel / Nabil Abdullah, announced the completion of the process of integrating 1,000 fighters from forces of three movements that signed the Juba Peace Agreement into the Sudan army.
Abdullah said in an interview with Darfur 24 regarding security arrangements, that the number of fighters interggrated into Sudan army belongs to the movements (Justice and Equality headed by Jibril Ibrahim, Sudan Liberation-Transitional Council headed by Hadi Idris and the Sudanese Alliance headed by Khamis Abkar)

The transitional government in Sudan signed a peace agreement with the armed movements mediated by the state of South Sudan in October 2020, but the security arrangements clause remained stalled for months, and the parties to the peace process constantly exchanged accusations about the failure to implement.

Recruitment after signing the agreement is one of the challenges of security arrangements
