El-Ginena April 25 (Darfur 24) On Monday, government authorities in West Darfur suspended air traffic at El Geneina Airport, due to the clashes in the city.

The offices of airlines in the city of El Geneina confirmed, during contacts made by Darfur24 correspondent, that the state authorities had ordered the suspension of flights to and from El Geneina, against the backdrop of the successive events in the city.

Meanwhile, Darfur24 learned that the clashes took place between the Rapid Support Forces and the Sudanese Alliance Movement forces, in which the movement forces managed to seize a vehicle belonging to the Rapid Support Forces, which was on its way to transport the officers from the Rapid Support headquarters, and its driver was killed.

While there were reports that dozens of vehicles from the armed forces moved from the (Haggana) sector from the city of El Obeid in central Sudan to the city of El Geneina, to contribute to putting an end to the insecurity in West Darfur.
