Khartoum, June 129Dafur24)The tripartite mechanism for dialogue
between the parties to the Sudanese crisis announced today, Saturday,
the postponement of the dialogue conference indefinitely, after it was
scheduled to resume tomorrow, Sunday.
“No meeting will be held tomorrow, and the tripartite mechanism
decided to postpone it to study and assess the situation in light of
recent developments and the meeting that took place Thursday under the
auspices of Saudi-US,” said Fadi al-Qadi, spokesman for the “UNITAMS”
mission.
“We have clearly declared that we will not be part or a party to any
platform or operation aimed at legitimizing the coup,” Omar Al-Diqair,
a member of the Executive Office for Freedom and Change, said in a
press briefing after a meeting with the mechanism on Saturday.
He indicated that they demanded the implementation of measures to
create the atmosphere and acceptance of the road map, which would
eventually lead to an end to the coup and open the way for a civilian
government that has credibility and representation for all the forces
of the revolution.

“The mechanism appreciated what we said and assured it that its
function is to end the coup and they asked for more time to reflect on
what we told them,” he added.

He stressed that they are seeking a process that will return the
military institution to its barracks, and that there will be no new
civil-military partnership, but rather a full civilian authority that
represents a collective mind that puts the country on the path of
salvation. He added that their main path is mass resistance by
peaceful means, and they believe in the integration of means between
peaceful resistance and political means, and added, “The political
process should be a product of the efforts of peaceful resistance.

” He revealed that they were subjected to great pressure from the
international community in order to join them in the preparatory
forum, and explained that they did not go to meet the military
component last Thursday at the dictation of anyone or under pressure
from any party.
He added, “We will not be under the command of any international or
regional external party.” On Thursday, the authority suddenly met, the
first of its kind with the military component since the October coup,
facilitated by a Saudi-American, and they discussed the possibility of
ending the coup through a road map it is preparing.
