Port Sudan, August 7(Darfur24)Today, Sunday, the first batch of railway locomotives, consisting of 21 out of 34 locomotives manufactured in the Republic of China, arrived at Port Sudan.
The Minister of Transport in charge, Hashem Abu Zeid, said that the step comes within the framework of a plan to enhance the country’s capabilities in the transportation sector and reduce costs.
Abu Zeid pointed out that the most important items of the plan are the purchase of two ships for maritime transport in partnership with the shipping lines.
