Nyala, August 28(Darfur24) The Director General of the Ministry of Education and Guidance in South Darfur, Mohamed Al-Amin Mohamed Al-Mustafa, said that his ministry has taken a decision to postpone the school year from next September 18 to early October.

 

Al-Ameen told Darfur 24 that the reasons that prompted them to take the decision were the torrential rains and floods in the state, and the damage to   some educational institutions.

 

He revealed that 66 schools   partially  collapsed  in the localities of Buram, Gereida, Nyala North, and the municipalities of Nyala, Bilil, Ed Al-Fursan, Al-Salam, Katila, Umm Dafouk, and the report was submitted to the Federal Mi
