Khartoum, December 29(Darfur24) Reliable  sources  associated with  the  Forces for  Freedom and Change FFC , said that the army commander Abdel Fattah al-Burhan  had mediated   between  the  Central Council and Jibril and Minawi to reach understandings  that end the stalemate and pave way  for   signing the framework agreement that had earlier being  signed by the Army, Rapid Support Forces  and Freedom and FFC“Central Council” on the fifth of this December.

 

Two sources revealed to Darfur 24 that Al-Burhan met with leaders of  FFC (the Central Council)  and leaders of the Democratic Bloc last Sunday.

 

According to a prominent source in the Central Council, the meetings continued between the two parties, indicating that some meetings were attended by Al-Burhan.

 

 The source stated that the understandings were close to reaching an agreement with Jibril and Minawi, suggesting that amendments be made in the political declaration without prejudice to the essence of the constitutional document

 

Forces  for  Freedom and Change FFC(Central Council )  insists that it only deals with   with “Jibril and Minawi” without the rest of the components of the bloc.

 

 FFC (Central Council) announced the holding of workshops on the five deferred issues, “Justice, dismantling empowerment, security and military reform, the Juba Agreement and the East issue.”
