Khartoum June 27(Darfur24)Clashes were renewed Monday between the Sudanese army and the powerful paramilitary Rapid Support Forces RSF in various areas of Khartoum city.
Eyewitnesses told Darfur24 that the southern neiborhoods of Khartoum witnessed Monday sporadic clashes between the two rival forces, heavy machine gun and artillery gunfire were also heard, while the military aircrafts were seen flying over the districts of Omdurman, Alsalha and Khartoum North.

The Sudanese army admitted Sunday that RSF captured central reserve force CRF premises in the capital Khartoum, describing the seizure as violations of international law and war norms.

The conflict between the two generals which erupted mid-April has left over 3thousand dead and tens of thousands injured, in addition to2.2 million internally displaced or crossed borders, according to WHO and Sudan’s ministry of health
