Khartoum, August 2(Darfur24)Sudanese army spokesperson, Brigadier Nabeel Abdallah has ruled out rumours that the Sudanese army was nearing to signing long term ceasefire agreement with the Rapid Support Forces RSF.

Nabeel wrote statement on the official Facebook page of Sudanese army, seen by Darfur 24 that “discourse about ceasefire deal is not true, our delegation is still in the country, and talks are currently paused”

FFC Leading member overbalanced Tuesday reaching long term ceasefire agreement between RSF and the Sudanese army.

Saudi Arabia and the USA have been facilitating indirect talks over the past three months between the two rival Sudanese forces urging them to sign effective truce that Leads to permanent ceasefire agreement..

War between RSF and the Sudanese army erupted mid-April paralyzing political, diplomatic and economic activities in country as well as forcing 3.5 million people flee their habitual residence.
