Prime Minister, Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk, will open tomorrow (Monday) the thirty-seventh session of  Khartoum International Fair, amid participation of a number of ministers and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Sudan.

This session comes at a time when the  country is witnessing a global commercial and industrial openness, following the success of  December revolution that led to the overthrow of Al –Bashir regime.

However, the thirty-year rule of the  ousted president, Omar Al-bashir ,isolated Sudan from the international community.

In a related development, the General Manager of the  Sudanese Free Zones and Markets Company, Lieutenant General Yousif Mohamed Karrar, said   the 37th session comes in light of Sudan’s openness to the world to attract many international and national companies, stressing that all arrangements and preparations  have been completed to host participating companies from more than 25 countries and 15 Sudanese states.

“This session is different  from the previous ones, we are  having three out of 6 galleries to display Sudanese products. We are  expecting large people to come for the exhibition”. Added Yousif Mohamed

The  Sudanese Free Zones and Markets  Company was founded in 1993, while the first session of Khartoum International Fair was organized in 1973.

The 37th session of the Fair for this year, is jointly organized by SFZMC Company and the administration of exhibitions and conferences, from 20 to 27, January 2020.
