Februray2, 2020 (Khartoum) Sudanese Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdouk on Sunday arrived in Djibouti, on a several day state visit in response to an invitation from President Ismail Omar Guelleh of Djibouti.
He is accompanied by Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Ambassador Omar Bashir Manis, Minister of Industry and Trade Madani Abbas Madani, and Director General of the National Intelligence Service, Lieutenant-General Jamal Al-Din Abdel Hamid.

Dr. Hamdouk and his accompanying delegation were received at the airport by the Prime Minister of Djibouti Abdel Qader Kamel Mohamed, a number of state officials and members of the Sudanese ُEmbassy in Djibouti.

Upon his arrival, the Sudanese Prime Minister, discussed with his Djibouti counterpart the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing them.Streets in the capital were decorated with Sudanese flag to reflect the joy of the people of Djibouti by the visit of the first high-ranking Sudanese official to Djibouti after the change of government in Sudan.
Djibouti has an old and new ports , which were established by the Chinese government, and it is of special great importance to the landlocked African countries, in terms of import and exports. However, the Ethiopian government depend on the ports of Djibouti by more than 80% for its exports and imports.
