July 14, 2020 -The Sudanese  Revolutionary Front (SRF) has condemned in the strongest term the sit-in massacre of  “Fataburno” area, of Kutum locality in North Darfur state, in which nine people were killed and more than 11 others were  seriously injured.

Spokesman for the Sudanese Revolutionary Front, Osama Saeed, said in a statement seen by Darfur 24 on Tuesday, that the transitional government and the state authorities, bear the full responsibility for their leniency in chasing the fleeing militias  and  failure to impose state’s authority.

Saeed, warned the government that such incidents pose a real threat to the peace process, calling on the transitional government and state authorities to move quickly to boost security in the area  , form a
committee to investigate the attack,  uncover the perpetrators and bring them to a fair trial.

SRF is an alliance that accommodate a number of armed movements from several  Sudanese regions, in addition to a number of representatives of political parties and organizations of Sudanese civil society,
however,  the coalition   remained opposed to the Salvation Government led by the ousted leader Omar al-Bashir, who ruled  Sudan for thirty years before being overthrown in the December Glorious revolution.
