Sudan ministry of health recorded 213 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, lifting total number of infections to7220 since the pandemic first emerged in Sudan.
“Twelve people died on Friday from the killer pandemic, raising total number of death toll to 459” the ministry said in a statement.

A breakdown of the new confirmed cases, shows that Khartoum states has the highest number with 150 infections, followed by Aljazeera State 21 cases ,North Darfur 11, Algadarif 10, east kassala and West Kordofan one case each.
Health authorities appealed to the citizens to comply with the instructions of the Ministry of Health and to follow the preventive measures.
